Why are snack wraps becoming common?

The fast food industry is jumping on this new trend.

In recent months, snack wraps have been making a comeback in many restaurants. But why is that the case? More and more chains have tried their hand at perfecting the fried chicken wrapped in a flour tortilla and vie for customers’ cash. Giving them more options than ever to choose from when it comes to the popular poultry menu item.

There is a blackened chicken option as well. The generously sized snack starts at $3.99.

Earlier this month, Sonic introduced yet another savory rival to the Snack Wrap arena with two new Crispy Chicken Wraps — Cheesy Baja and Honey Chipotle — priced at $1.99 each.

Taco Bell has rolled out its own version of a crispy chicken snack — something Chief Marketing Officer Taylor Montgomery promised would come to fruition as he shared those menu changes at Live Mas Live, mentioning they would build on the success of Crispy Chicken Nuggets.

HipCityVeg has also released its own version of a snack wrap just weeks after the latter two. They’ll sell it as Crispy or Smoky Sweet. However, unkile the previous two, these snacks are priced at $4.75.

As for McDonald’s, they will sell their fan-favorite crispy chicken wraps on July 10th as early as 10:30 a.m.

These bite-sized snacks have also been taking over the internet and social media. From posts on Facebook to TikTok, more and more people are going to their local restaurants. Not just to try them, but to compare them and see which is superior.
