Growing up, there was a game console that came out and that almost all of my friends had, but I never had which is called a Nintendo DS. There are different models of the DS. There’s the Nintendo DS Family, 2DS family, and 3Ds family. I currently have the 3DS model which has the 3D slider on it. Now the main console, which is the Nintendo DS had a lot of hype when I was a kid. I never really had gaming consoles except for the PSP (Playstation Portable), and a tablet with internet on it and that’s pretty much it. I didn’t really beg my parents for a DS, because I knew the answer would be no, so I stuck with my PSP until the wheels fell off. BUT, this past Christmas, I finally got one. It’s not a DS, its a Nintendo 3DS in the color teal. On the 3Ds, you can play both 2Ds and 3Ds games. Now the 3DS came in two different colors when it first came out, black and Teal, and then other colors started coming out around late 2010s before it was discontinued. One of the most noteworthy features of the handheld is the ability of the upper screen to display 3D without the need for glasses in a technique known as autostereoscopy. There were so many games that you can play on the 3DS console, like Mario kart, Kirby, Luigi, Animal Crossing, Zelda but in 3D. It was a fun way to past the time afterschool or when your board. The system has motion and gyroscopic detection for interactivity with the games and apps that use movement of the system, and features a new analog circle control, referred to by Nintendo as a ‘Circle Pad’, a first for a Nintendo handheld. This also comes with a camera where you can take pictures, and record videos. For more information check out this website: https://nintendo.fandom.com/wiki/Nintendo_3DS
